Honestly, I think we will get a swerve. I think Negan will kill someone who isn't an A cast member first, such as Aaron. When the season comes back, that is who we will see first. Then, we will get a swerve and someone who is an A cast member will meet Lucille has well, which most likely will be Glen with the way Maggie's storyline has been going

@mr.hockey4242 I'm sure this scene has been shot all the way through, which most likely wouldn't require who ever it is that gets Lucille'd to return for only a quick take to start S7 filming. That would be smart production wise as well, so they wouldn't have to double up on makeup costs.

Would be pretty funny to have a cliffhanger this season then next season it is revealed that Rosita had her brains bashed in. The last real shocking death we've had was Beth wasn't it? Since then they've just been killing off B-listers or the easy choices.

I am aware of how her story progresses past the war in the books. I just dont think it is super critical that it has to be HER.

I get what you are saying. I just think key points can be swapped rather easily if the need arises.

Hm, if the quality of the comics really drops off that much wouldn't that give the show more of a reason to get more creative and go away from the comics even more than they already have? Could get interesting.

I will tell you I think the Whisperers are more intriguing than Negan...and more terrifying. Alpha is beast.

There are still good stories, but tonight's episode is the apex. No single moment that has occurred since compares (one moment is shocking, but it does not have the same drama as tonight).

I still look forward to the comic too. Just because this is the ultimate event, and nothing since compares does not mean nothing moving forward will be not be worth watching.

I hope so. I believe so.

While this back 8 has been absolutely amazing so far, it has been a little too close to the comics, IMHO. Maybe they stayed so true because this is such an important period in the comics. I get that. But I would like them to change course just a bit, and I think there are lots of opportunities for them to do that moving forward. Tonight's episode will dictate a lot of that.
