That would be a hell of a twist, but it might put Morgan at ease. But it is very unlikely. His zombified body is roaming somewhere in Georgia.

It was not Rosita. I watched the scene multiple times, and it was definitely Dwights gun that was fired, and he was aiming at Darryl.
Actually they were really careful to shoot the penultimate Glenn dumpster scene from enough on an angle that you couldn't see what was actually happening, which led people to assume. It was also completely impossible for Glenn to escape the way he did, but yet he is still around. Just because they made it appear that way does not mean that is what will actually happen.
I am surprised no one mentioned the possibility that it was Rosita who was shot. She was standing next to Darryl and could have easily been targeted in that scenerio by either one of the bad guys.
Chef will have a fit if it was Rosita though!
I know it's coming sooner or later, but I'm wondering how much differently it will play out. I think they're gonna feature her as the resident 'hottie' for awhile.
I might add, she has been looking increasingly voluptuous since the blockhead dropped her.![]()
I agree that that episode began to turn me back onto Morgan. The logic of his argument isnt sound, but he also acknowledges that his stance is not "right". It is just the stance that allows him to sleep at night.I really enjoyed this episode. I even liked the exchange and mutual respect between Morgan and Rick, although I agree with the consensus here that Denise would've most likely been out of harm's way to begin with. That was my first thought while listening to Morgan's little speech. Really liked the bit about the granola bar.
Anyway...looks like the group to choose from is Glenn, Michonne, Rosita and Daryl so far. Add Rick and Abe next week to round it out?
Doesn't look like Maggie will be joining the circle, which is a bit surprising...and where does Morgan fit in?![]()

If he had killed the Wolf when he first encountered him, how many Alexandrians would still be alive? But would the Alexandrians then be so fully behind Rick and the rest of the Survivors if the Wolves had not attacked?
If he had killed the Wolf instead of taking him captive, Denise never would have been in trouble to begin with. But she also would not have been in the right spot to be able to help Carl.
Just surviving is not enough. They need to be able to live and thrive. In Morgans opinion, that includes forgiving and reforming. Imprisoning the Wolf and attempting to reform him (outside of the importance of that action in future seasons) is important for society. And remember, this is what Eastman did for Morgan. Eastman should have killed Morgan, but he didnt.

If Morgan had done it on the up-and-up, than sure. But he kept the Wolf alive while keeping it quiet from everyone else. If Rick and the other community leaders knew, they would have handled it better (kept better guard, built a better makeshift cell, whatever). That's exactly what communities do. Shunning, shaming, incarceration, pretty much all civilizations have a method of reforming members that screw up.
No.Simply put...the evidence in this case proves Morgan's approach wrong. If he had killed the wolf originally, many people would still be alive...many good people.

Eastman could do what he did because he was not in a community. If he fucked up, it was his hide. If Rick fucks up, dozens of people die.
Ultimately, differnces of opinion are good and makes a community stronger. But hiding those opinions and acting counter to the overall strategy of said community will undermine everything.
IIRC, there are only about 4 or 5 actual named members, and the structure, past Negan, is only, at best, hinted at. I fully suspect that be more fully fleshed out on the show, though. The leadership structure of Negan's group: My way or the highway.
