How did Glenn not get sprayed with bullets? How does Carl get shot in the fucking EYE but doesn't die?

The Glenn thing to me seemed like a blatant "Omg, they're gonna do it! They're gonna kill Glenn!" teaser thing.

The Carl thing? Well, there were a lot more parts that you had to suspend disbelief on, imo. How the hell do they pull off those minute-long conversations? Do the zombies politely wait until they are done?

I wasn't impressed with the episode. In fact, I even considered turning it off a few times. The consensus here seems to be that it was a great episode. I guess I'll watch the episode again to see if I can change my mind because I want to be like you guys.

I did laugh about the warm color montage of Jessie's death. Did we know her enough to warrant that? I had to look up her character name for this post. In American Horror Story I at least knew her name - hot as hell maid.

You're right, in American Horror Story, she was really fucking hot.

I thought that scene was great (my disbelief is always suspended btw ... zombies right? lol) ... because i very briefly thought he was gonna finally get it

it had me briefly thinking, after all that went on during the first half of this season, hes gonna go out like this

They actually went into some detail explaining this on TTD. They said the bullet hit his eye socket at an angle, blowing up his socket and eye, but not hitting the brain at all. In the comics, it is MUCH more violent. He has a hole through his eye all the way to the back of his head. The fact that they "dulled it down" on the TV show actually makes it much more believable.

If I remember correctly, they really "dulled down" Jessie's arm removal, didn't they? I understand why, but it's too bad. Really watered down the scene for me.

They were shooting at the walkers heads. Since he's a gook and therefore much shorter than the walkers the bullets missed him.
