Horrible episode.

Period.

This was pure filler, with absolutely zero story advancement.

We get confirmation Maggy is preggers. OK. While it is a big "who cares?", it is story movement.

Dr. Denise Cloin is lesbo. Who cares.

Spencer is a sleeze. Good. I was wondering when they were going to start that. But it did come out of left field. No hints to this in the show to this point.

Rick runs up to the gates. FUCKING BULL SHIT!! They ended the ep 2 weeks ago on a cliffhanger with him in an RV without a door getting surrounded by a herd. So they completely skip him getting out?

I love this show, but this whole Glenn thing followed by ignoring Rick's predicament is almost shark-worthy.

Very disappointing. Outside of the HORRIBLE plan they tried to execute in 6.1, it was a good episode. Episode 2 was one of the best episodes yet of the show. Ep 3 was a good ep, but the whole Glen-ploy bugs the shit out of me. Now we get 2 screaming duds in a row?

And why didn't they at least try to thin the herd by stabbing walkers through the gate? A few hours of safe culling could make a decent dent in that herd.

That's a good idea in theory, but once they kill a few walkers the only entrance to the safe zone would be clogged with dead bodies.

Yep, you've just about covered it. Except for the "2 screaming duds in a row" part. We will have to agree to disagree on that one.

This is another good observation. I can grudgingly accept Rick just suddenly running up to the gate with no explanation of how he got away from the trailer...after all, they've done this bit before (Nicholas leaving Glenn with the walkers last season).

But the hand is suddenly ok? Sloppy.

It seems like they skipped an episode. How did Rick escape? Don't think we saw Michonne and her crew get back yet either, but at least they were on their way. They must have skipped that for a reason with plans on getting back to it but I'm just not sure why.

They were doing one week in Alexandria, one week with the horde. Rick left Michone and Glen to run back to get the RV to try to lead the horde away again. Last episode with the horde was when Glen was under a pile of endtrails, then last week they wasted 90 minutes on a backstory, back to alexandria this week, finally will see Michone, Daryl and the horde crew next week. It was week after week just used that Morgan story to make people wait another week seeing if there is a glen answer.

The whole deal is, why not just drive a vehicle out thru the horde if they chase cars.

This was a much better episode than learning Morgans story. Rick finally made his move on Jesse, Carl and Ron will fight over Enid, got a thick girl lezz moment and got to see Rosalita for a few seconds.

If it's intentional, it's likely to be Rick or Carl. If it's unintentional it's going to be Jessie, Sam, or Judith. Could also be Enid either intentionally or unintentionally.

My guess is he will accidentally shoot his younger brother Sam.

I was leaning towards agreeing with you until I read the other Carl post...that makes a lot of sense.

Mom ending up the victim makes a lot of sense as well.

Based on the last moment we saw Rick my thought was that the only way he could escape would be to start running, and I mean start right at the moment they cut away... So I'll just assume that's what he did...

But still, to leave us like, "Oooo boy, Rick is screwed!" and just have him magically appear is kinda cheap. At least show us!

There is no spark or connection between Rick and Jessie. It's just not there. Partially because Jessie is as dull as a butter knife. She is just lifeless to me? And no, she is not hotter than Rosita!?

The only character with any redeeming qualities from Alexandria is Aaron.


Not a great episode. Maggie and Aaron's trip was a complete waste of time. Rick's arrival at the beginning was stupid.... I can only assume they will go back and touch on how he actually escaped.

I can't for the life of me, understand how, if they were to kill off Glenn, why would they abandon the comic arc, as it was probably the most epic death of the whole series?

If he was going to die, it should've mirrored the comics, IMO.
