Can you really say it only appeals to the lowest common denominator and is "appalling".

When you forgot about Morgan already meeting the wolves last season and that Aaron left the pictures behind?

It's obviously not as simple for you as you seem to keep bitching about.

Jeez, take it personal. I mean, I'm the only one in the thread that called the last episode about a week before it happened as half the folks here or more were thinking Gabriel was honking the horn.

Truth is, they tend to lead the audience to the point of being predictable. For a while, they had that issue when it came to showcasing a character that usually only had a few lines an episode. For years it was a sign of who was going to get whacked, especially if you found out they were going to be on Talking Dead.

Don't bitch about bitching. It's bitchy.

Pretty sure most of us were in agreement that the horn came from the Wolves, but whatever; If this was just a random attack by them with no rhyme or reason, I'll be pretty disappointed. Sure seemed planned and organized to me, with a leader behind it.

IMO, there has been plenty to suggest she's with the wolves, whether it be to lead us down the wrong path or not, is a different story.
I'd agree. The show is certainly painting her out to be someone who could be a narc.

The cliche with most post-apocalyptic savage groups is that the savages are generally the first wave. It doesn't mean that the wolves don't have spies or a diabolical leadership system. Its entirely possible that they were setting the zombie pit trap for Alexandria and the invasion at the same time to steal the stuff of the weaker members while Rick's group is gone. There is no way they attack without guns otherwise.

Excellent episode, btw. The Carol/Morgan doing the cliche badasses with different philosophies thing still works.

It is a predictable show but everyone knew it was the Wolves. Gabriel made sense if they didn't already have a multi episode buildup for the Wolves.

Yep, it still does.

And the funny thing about it is that was ultimately a coincidence, anyway.

Wait, so you guys are saying that CarlSr isn't a clairvoyant genius?

I'm surprised that Rick and co. hasn't led a mission to the warehouse to take care of the trailers of zombies. I mean, surely they don't think someone just put those zombies in the trailers to get rid of them. Has Aaron, Morgan and Darryl just forgot about that whole deal?

Maybe its because Rick believes the biggest threat against them are people, not the zombies. Either that or there were not enough of them to worry about. I mean, they went back to that noisy store that they had to go in so the herd did not hear them and leave the path with a full team, ended up just having three people stop the noise when they could have all done it during the walk thru.

I think that's kinda weird too. Didn't those three watch them cut that guy with the red hoodie's throat?

I am not sure there has been a lot of time do all this. I think Rick found the quarry just a day or so after Daryl, Aaron and Morgan got back. And clearly, the Quarry (in their eyes) was the higher priority task.

Messing with another group is actually rather low-priority (at this point).

Has anyone brought up how the whole moving the herd plan was pretty stupid to begin with? I know they had to come up with something to fill 90 minutes with, but...

How would of done it?

That is a given.

I am willing to chalk it up to suspension of disbelief. Too many other, better plans not to (Molotov cocktails, build up the area to work as a better trap...)

Molotov's or explosions are a bad idea. You don't want to attract attention from other bad people from far away. Large amounts of smoke can be see for miles.

Very good point.

But we are only approx 2 years "since the lights went out" (to use a phrase from Fear). I am not sure a big fire will attract much investigation from humans. if anything, it will cause humans to avoid the area. As for walkers, I think they are attracted to sound more than sight, and the "living" walkers are all making a ton of noise as it is. burning them MAY increase the volume for a short while, but will decrease the sound moving forward.

If the trap can be fortified, then all they really need is some kind of "killing zone" to thin the herd. there are countless ways of doing that.

OR....

Look at at the energy that they can harvest. Get a few walkers on a treadmill and that is almost bottomless free electricity...

You're right.

One of the wolves had a backpack with surveillance pictures of Alexandria. If Enid isn't working for them, someone else is/was. Notice, they seemed to know Morgan. Maybe Morgan was with them for a brief period, like until he lost the friend that taught him to use that staff?

The pack is from the guy who recruited Rick and the group. The pack was left behind when he (don't recall his name) and Daryl were trapped in the car. Remember; Morgan saved them.

Morgan was with one/two of them. They came up on him to take his stuff and kill him. Morgan didn't kill him/them.

Lol, I dunno. Leave 'em alone? Herd 'em off the cliff? Taking 'em on a 20 mile hike and expecting them to stay in line just didn't make sense.

Also, what would cause more humans to investigate?

1) A big fire caused by burning a thousand walkers?

Or

2) Continually firing flares into the air.

This. The only concern I thought about here was if the fire got out of control.

But with Rick in charge, we all know that wouldn't happen, right? ;)

Just watched last night's episode again. Interesting that Denise noted that Pete didn't want her there. I wonder if that was the same reason Beth's doctor friend didn't want any other doctors in that hospital, or if he just thought she was incompetent as a medical professional or a bit of both. Deanna wasn't about executions anyway but she sure seemed hesitant to get rid of their only surgeon. That being said, you would think any ZA community would have an appreciation for a psychiatrist, especially now that they are getting a taste of what it's really all about.

So you want 7B people to die?

No. That's not bad of you at all. Why would you even ask such a question?
