Yeah, story building. They are not doing bottle-episodes anymore, so each story just gets a nod each episode until that story is the A-story. I would guess we will get another peak at that next week, then hit it hard after Rick is dead.

I think Rick will end up being Jadis' "A", whatever that ends up being exactly.

I think he'll find a way out of his current situation. The horse got spooked and knocked him off but in the closing shot the horse is seen just standing there as all the walkers are closing in. They are going against logic for a reason, so Rick will most likely get away on that horse.

If they do it right, could be a great episode; considering some the the 'death scenes' of the past couple of years, I fear it will be more of a sappy, indulgent homage to Rick. This is so NOT what 'The Walking Dead' was supposed to be. I hope I'm totally wrong.

I hate to be this guy, but I have watched this show since the first episode and I'm just kind of bored of it now.

So much useless filler that doesn't build up to any climax or even contribute to character development.

Part of me wishes that the writers would just wrap the show up with some kind of satisfying closing.

Also the fact that they're advertising this as "Rick's last episodes" doesn't really help. If they're going to kill him off, let it be shocking like when they decapitated Herschel. The show has kind of revolved around Rick, I can't imagine who steps up and becomes that main character.

It’s the natural progression of a show, though. Especially one about a post-apocalyptic world.

After this week, there will be no one left from the first episode. While Daryl was mentioned in episode 2, we didn’t actually see him until ep 3. Carol, also, was not introduced until ep 3. Maggie was introduced in 2.2 and Michonne, while hinted at in 2.13, was not actually introduced until 3.1.

Rick gets off the rebar, makes his way to the bridge somehow, gets surrounded by walkers and Jadis/Anne saves him by way of helicopter.
