She is used as a zombie-grenade. Negan takes her prisoner, then returns her after some negotiations with Rick. She dies before the exchange, though, so the Saviors put a sack over her head to fool the Alexandrians. When they get her and take the hood off, she bites Heath and he loses his leg. I think she also kills a few extras, but I dont remember that specifically.

I dont remember the circumstances surrounding her abduction...

Holly (Comic Series)

Holly is seen as one of the people who volunteers to travel with Rick, Paul and Ezekiel to The Sanctuary, the Saviors' main base. After luring roamers to converge at their location, Holly gets on one of the buses and notices that Rick isn't with them. Paul tries to keep her aboard, but Holly escapes and finds Rick. He orders her to get back on the bus before the Saviors begin shooting again, but Holly refuses. She claims it's too risky for him to sacrifice himself like this and volunteers to do it herself. Rick once again tells her to leave but Holly stands her ground again, saying the the man who killed Abraham is in there. After again being told to leave, Holly knees Rick in the groin, steals the truck and drives it through the fence. Holly is wounded from the impact and falls out from the drivers side. She is attacked by a roamer, but, Negan saves her, telling Holly that she "isn't getting off that easy." Holly is then taken captive by the Saviors.

Were they ever called "Oceanside" in the books? There are certainly similarities, but some big differences as well. I am not certain this is the same community as the books.

Yeah Oceanside was the community Michonne turns up in after AOW. It doesn't really have a huge role in the comics that the show seems to be pushing it towards.

Okay, so I wasn't the only one going, "Okay, what in the HELL was that?"...

And I get that Tara is supposed to be a bit light-hearted, but I think they really take it too far and make a mockery of the situation...

So anyway, Tara's back... Whatever.... We don't know where Heath is, but do we really care? .... The only thing I see coming of this is (obviously) another allied in some upcoming war, and the fact that Oceanside has plenty of guns... All assuming Tara eventually gives them up, which I also don't care...

Best part of the episode was Tara flipping off the little girl that spit at her feet...
