....and, there’s my answer.
15 consecutive seasons with 30+ starts and 198+ innings. Pretty amazing in this era.

Fausto Roberto Juan Consuelo Martinez Hernandez Carmona
Whatever you call him, he'll always have a special place in my heart for two reasons.
This one's for you, Fausto Emanuel Esteban Luis Pedro Chalupa.
- His performance in Game 2 of the 2007 ALDS (the aforementioned "bug game," which I was at) - fucking gritty, and although he gave up a solo dinger to Melky in the 3rd, it was arguably the best single-game pitching performance of the 2007 post season (that "arguably" is for you, @navamind dickhead).
- During a 2008 game against the Detroit Tigers, Gary Sheffield charged the mound from 1st base and Carmona went all Nolan-Ryan-to-Robin-Ventura on him.
It's a shame he couldn't stay healthy. He was a great pitcher for a while.
Man. Haven't thought about him for a while. Had quite a few arguments with Mariners fans (both of them) about my meh attitude about him. Great pitcher. Made of glass. Meh.
Not sure why Mariners fans would care about Josh Johnson.
