The Umpire Clown Show Continues

TONIGHT; Reds vs. Cardinals.........St Louis runner on first .........Molina hits a ball to left field.........
runner on first, comes around to score.........Cardinals win the game

The problem was...the ball supposedly went over the fence, and caromed back into play...
Should have been a ground rule double....no run should have scored
The umpires had already left the field....no replay

Joe West pulled a stupid against the CUBS...not allowing a catcher to talk to the pitcher....


At what point, just like in the NFL, because of pathetic officiating, do games become worthless.

It's time to fire some of these guys......

The Reds Cards game was a joke, but only because the rule sucks ass. By Rule, the Umps only wait 10 seconds for word from the managers on a replay at the end of the game.

Stupid rule, but it was enforced correctly.

Joe West should have been canned years ago. Someone needs to tell that fat fuck no one is paying to see him.

It is my understanding, that an mlb umpire in chief, can request a replay, any time past the 7th inning. It does not have to be requested by a manager.

Umps are making clearly bad calls now, even missing obvious out calls at first base by a whole stride.
They apparently don't much care. If the appeal is lodged, they just let "New York" do their work for them. They miss easy tag plays at 2nd base. it's as if they have decided to thumb their nose at the replay.
Missing a call at first base is inexcusable. It's the easiest call an ump can make.
And these hairline safe-out calls on tag plays are a joke.
