You know it's true.
For years I have been singing Aldridge's praises and many have asked me why I'm so high on him.
I know everyone is on the Anthony Davis train this year.
But, LaMarcus has been a top 4 PF for the last 4 years.
Sadly, nobody noticed until Dame Lillard came on the scene.
It's not just a 2 man show either.
Batum, Lopez and Matthews are major contributors.
Go Rip City!
Good players and good team. It's nice to see Portland back in contention after failing to beat the Lakers in 2000. Kind of sad that it took 14 years but oh well. I don't think Portland can run with the Warriors or the Spurs to be honest and if they draw either one in the first round - they are history. I really have my doubts that they can beat the Clippers or Oklahoma assuming the Okies gets everyone healthy enough for the playoffs. Mabe they could beat Houston or Memphis, but I just don't see it
^Somehow finds a way to turn a Blazers thread into a Lakers thread.
After last season's 2nd half collapse I wouldn't talk about being title contenders until I see how they do in the 2nd half.
They were 23-5 last year at this point (just one game better than where they stand now) but went 23-18 in the 2nd half of the season

The difference between last year portland and this year is that they play both sides of the floor. So i can see them keeping it up
Yep, we are much better on defense now. I think the Blazers announcer said that the team has ALREADY held more teams under 90 points than they did all of last year.
