I thought this movie looked absolutely terrible from the trailers, with a ridiculous concept and looking like it was trying to hide the aliens out of fear of bad CGI, but after watching it, the movie surprisingly turns out to be unexpectedly okay. The plot has a lot of holes, but the movie is entertaining and not as bad as the trailers made it seem.

Over the past couple of weeks I've watched Wrath Man, Those Who Wish Me Dead, Nobody, The Virtuoso, Lansky, The Marksman and the little things.

I even bought a couple for my own library.

I thought that it was okay for what it was. I didn’t hate it but not a movie that I have any desire to rewatch again. Background noise movie at best.

I was very presently surprised. I went in wanting to hate it, but I couldn’t.

The Col Forrester twist was too obvious. I actually figured that one out just looking at the cast list on IMDB (and good on IMDB for not blatantly spoiling it, btw).

When the “future” first showed up and started the draft, my eyes rolled and I was like this is so stupid, why not just bring back as much tech as you can and get 30 years of development and strategizing in place instead of destroying timelines? Then they had the throwaway line of “You really want me to teach you the science behind time travel right now?” which bought them a LOT of wiggle room in my eyes. THEN, the real reason for the time bridge was revealed, and my main objection was put to rest.

My other major issue was that they made the aliens purely animalistic. It was impossible to believe that they were able to achieve space travel. They perfectly addressed that issue in the final act, and they avoided answers that I personally would have found weak (they were not aliens or they were just “worker bees” for a more intelligent sub species)

Watched this over the weekend myself. Was a solid movie. As others have noted, lots of plot holes that just don't make sense.

I enjoyed it. Not a great movie, but enjoyable. It did feel longer than he needed it to be.

Finally saw it

Solid movie

Took way too long at the end, they should’ve been running around jabbing people

Plot twist at the very end was solid and didn’t expect them to play it out and figured they’d just show them solving the issue
