'Twas a good draft (unless you're the Pirates).

2012 Major League Baseball Draft - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Corey Seager was drafted one slot ahead of Michael Wacha. Michael Wacha made it to the bigs very quickly and has excellent returns. This makes some Dodger fans (not me) think it would've been wiser to draft Wacha instead of Seager.

Well, they're both in the bigs now so that means it's time to unfairly weigh their successes against each other!

T-minus one month until Seager hits a home run off of Wacha in the NLCS.

It's Kyle's little brother...

I'd take Seager. A shortstop capable of an ISO of around .180 is invaluable, not to mention he's been playing good defense this year. Wacha isn't chopped meat though

Corey Seager ties May homer record for shortstops

The tie is with Hanley, by the way.

Meanwhile, looks like Wacha is getting BABIP'd pretty hard.

61 IP, 4.99 ERA, 3.59 FIP, 3.40 BABIP, and a bunch of other peripherals that are pretty close to career norms (walk rate slightly higher).

That ERA should improve.
