we are well aware of the stupidity of st louis.
Way to completely misunderstand my point.

The Raiders wouldn't have any fans in STL. A good portion of Rams fans actually rooted for the Chiefs for the 5 or 6 years that STL didn't have a football team. Chiefs and Raiders HATE each other

Oh great you can find some tweets from a few moron fans...Welcome to every Sports Fan Base in the World! Should I post pictures of what Red Sox fans were doing after winning the World Series when they were rioting in the streets and flipping people's cars? Yeah those guys look like complete geniuses.

Stay classy Boston. I guess we all know that the NY Giants are better than NE Patriots for the same reasons, right?

You fuckers simmer down. I can't see the Raiders or Rams fan bases benefitting from these moves.

It would be weird to say the least. OHHH the outcry

It's possible. But it's the bored media at the NFL meetings throwing shit against the wall is all. They're dying for headlines.

I don't see the people in STL supporting the Raiders. That would be the final straw - hell they barely support the Rams. But they will support a winner.

keoneke doesnt let his teams fanbase make his business decisions....and he is going to leverage his pros (current owner, privately finance stadium) to make the move. the raiders are a west coast team and st louis having hated them for years makes the move there seem difficult but not impossible. Id be more intrigued in seeing them go to san antonio and let st louis get an expansion.

Why not just keep the Rams in St. Louis and move the Raiders to LA? Derp.

The owner of the Rams is going to build a gigantic complex in Inglewood. The value of his franchise would basically triple in LA v. STL. The Rams are right near the bottom for attendance, too. This makes a lot of sense for him to move to LA.

As much as I like to satirize "The Best fans in Baseball," pretty much everyone knows there are idiots in every fanbase ever. I do tend to think St. Louis is more of a baseball town than anything, but hey, that's my opinion. I think San Antonio makes more sense for the Raiders if they were to move out of Cali. It's not that I hate St. Louis, I just think San Antonio makes more sense long term.

Quite frankly, Pats fans shouldn't be throwing stones here.

I think your main point is right. St. Louis is a baseball town. Nobody cares about the football team until the owner wants to move(it seems). St. Louis already lost the Cardinals to ARZ, and it looks like they will return the Rams to LA, as well.

St.Louis should get to keep a team but doubt it will be the Raiders.

LA is not a football town either. Out of the frying pan and into the fire?

Really good point. I live here and I know nobody gives a shit about pro football in these parts. But it's hard to ignore the 2nd biggest market in the U.S. entirely. Only the NFL could pull that off! By sheer numbers, an LA team should draw better than an STL team, but we will see.

I think if you put a good to great product out for fans, the fans will follow. L.A. Could become a football city over a 2 to 3 year period if the team they put out are contenders. L.A. Is no different that any place else, they just have more options for entertainment . The truth IMO that any city will turn away from a sport if the team seems more interested in making money then making a whole hearted effort to win.
