Ironically, the Crawfords are considered some of the best refs in the league-even by the players they have tormented. I agree that they have a "quick whistle" and are somewhat past post. But the league would have no reason to keep them on if they were that inept.
Not sure about Foster but I know he's highly rated by the league and refs many key games as a result.
