Marcus Dupree could have been something similar if he actually gave a shit and wasn't a cry baby. Not even sure decades says enough. He was just a man among boys.

Yea, there will never be another guy like him, he was decades ahead of his time.
Boz got a bad wrap because of how he acted on the field, but by all accounts, he was a great guy off the field, which no one really ever got to see and he was out of the league before anyone could really find that out.I agree w/ that. To this day 1 of my favorite NFL highlights was when he ran over the Boz like a freight train. Too bad that hip injury cut his career short. I liked his commercials w/ Bo Diddley back in the day.

Heard the same thing. Also if I remember he was pretty good @ marketing himself as the bad guy & made a good amount of money from it.
Pocket presence and deep ball leave a lot to be desired in terms of consistency. Too many times he bails from the pocket early and his deep ball isn't nearly as accurate as I would really like. I like what I see mostly out of him outside of that. I think 2nd round is probably his true value but I'd be willing to go out on a limb for him in the bottom of the first for the 5th year option ala Bridgewater. As of right now he's the 2nd QB on the board and projected 45th overall
They came out with a film called Brian and the Boz, basically shows how the Boz was all a persona.
Most people have only seen him play twice, last night and last years natty game, so I'm not surprised so many people think he's superman, he's great, but he's far from perfect.Pocket presence and deep ball leave a lot to be desired in terms of consistency. My favorite 30 for 30 is the one about Marcus DupreeI've seen most of the 30 for 30's but must have missed that one, I don't remember it. I'll have to find it & watch it.
Okay so you call Eli a pussy for not wanting to play for the Chargers but Elway did the same thing to the Colts back in the day & he's not a pussy?

He's a pussy for doing the same thing yes, but also an asshole. Never been a fan of elway
watching him play all year and realizing he makes a lot of mistakes. Is there a better evaluator than two games against Alabama, the toughest competition with likely the highest concentration of future pros in the NCAA?
