Yes, they do, but Katz wants the city of Edmonton to pitch in a bunch of cash for a new arena and the city is quite reluctant to do so.

this is interesting political timing ... the federal govt just backed out of funding Edmontons World expo bid, which also meant new rapid transit has been pushed back which means Katz sees some tax dollars suddenly not appropriated to anything lol

despite the shitty on-ice product of the last few years, the oiler fans are loyal to a fault.
