I'm hoping that the shit talking will be of a great quality and that folks will keep the asinine thread jacking to a minimum.


We ALL don't like it when a fan of another team jumps into a series thread just to poke sticks in posters eyes and to create friction, so hopefully folks will adhere to the "do onto others" motto and let fans of that thread vent without some wise ass third party pointing out their frustrations constantly.


I'm pretty sure I can speak for the other Mods when I say that we'd rather get into the games like everyone else instead of answering endless streams of PM's from posters complaining.

AMEN...... The smack talk is fine and as Tox said most of the problems come from people jumping into GDT's just to start shit.

The playoffs are great and there is a lot of emotion involved with not only the teams but the fans as well. No need to hug and kiss each other it's about pulling for your team and wanting to kick the other teams ass. No problem there have at it, as long as it doesn't degenerate to personal bullshit things will be fine.

Like Tox said I would rather watch the games over answering PM's and asking posters to please act like adults and not kids. Shit happens here and there but I will not spend an evening warning the same poster a dozen times to cool it.

lol, awesome. Yeah, I've said my piece on the matter. From now on, no comment. Unfortunately, our board has gone from "good hockey discussion" to "I told you player xyz sucks, the coach sucks, the GM sucks and I've always said it was that way and they always have and if you didn't give me my due for recognizing it and you didn't 100% back me up you're an idiot".....so we got that going for us.
