Is Mamba alive?
I have Pm'ed him today with no response, hoping he is alive. Raiders lost though, so could be a bad week for him.

Bah, having your NFL team lose is no reason not to post in the college forum.

Jebus! Arizona is a dumpster fire right now...me Beavs are getting them at the right time.

Utah, ASU and USC in the South and Cal, Stanford and Oregon in the North....wow.

Baring a total collapse, Cal is one game away from bowl eligible which will be a huge accomplishment for Dykes and his coaching staff. But that defense of theirs is still very suspect. It's between Stanford and Oregon for the north. I just don't see Cal pulling it off purely with offense in 2015. Plus their in for a gut check this saturday. Utah has a huge edge in this game.

Since my team is out of the picture I would like to see Utah win out and knock Bama out of the playoffs.
I think that would be so freaking fun.

GO CATS!

Arizona won the south with 2 conference losses last year so why exactly do you think they are out of it?

in fact every year at least one participant in the conference championship game has had at least 2 conference losses.

So Oregon is getting special uniforms for this week. Or as most like to call it just another week at oregon football. this one has to do with the oregon trail and history of Oregon.

Maybe because last year, in the regular season, they lost to USC by 2 and UCLA by 10. This year, they've lost to UCLA by 26 and Stanford by 38.

point totals mean nothing if they go on to win the remaining games resulting in an 7-2 conference record meaning they would have beat the rest of the South teams even if they only win each by 1. that would give them a tie break over USC, Colorado and Arizona State. they would need Utah to lose 1 more and they would have the tie break over them as well. UCLA already has 1 loss so if they lose 2 more that would put Arizona over them as well.
All of this is possible as all these teams stil have many games against each other.

I'm realist and Arizona is beat up already this year and I don't really see us getting healthy any time soon.
I also think it was a knuckle head call to bring Scooby back before he was ready.
Anything is possible, but as I stated, I'm a realist.

Me too and I agree just saying you never know what will happen this early in the season.

Sure, they could go on a run like they did last year, but considering the difference in how they played in their 2 losses, it seems a lot less likely this season.

You mean like Arizona State who looked like a totally different team this week than what we have seen so far this season?

I'm not counting anyone out, but based on how badly they lost and how banged up they are, Arizona doesn't look likely to duplicate last years run.

Maybe they get a couple of guys back and/or the replacements just needed a couple of games to adjust and they'll end up winning the South again. But if I'm betting real money, I'm betting against.

ASU, on the other hand, may be able to do just that. Depends on if how they played on Saturday was the result of their own improvement or UCLA's injuries on defense finally catching up to them.

anything good happen in the Pac12?

One thing that was good that didn't happen was another Beaver loss...they didn't play.

On the up-stoke, the Beavs do lead the PAC in passing defense, first in 3rd down defense and first in opps 1st downs per game.

on the downstroke, Beavers are dead last in offense.

Well Beavs are going to by new team soon. A kid I work with brother plays for you guys. He was suppose to be your returning but don't follow the Beavs until October 10th.
