Now Anthony Morrow out at least a month. First 20 games or so going to be rough, just don't have enough shooters on the roster.

Westbrook will lead the NBA in scoring.

But unless Jackson and Ibaka go balls to the wall, they might fall out of the top 4 if Durant is not back sooner.

Still think they go to the WCF against the Spurs.

I like that westbrook will lead the league in scoring. Most likely. Its a huge opportunity to show how good he is and if hes ready to take it to the next level.

I have said before he has a shot to average a triple double or come as close as anyone since Fat Lever.

I agree that Westbrook will show the league that he's actually a bit underrated and very capable of being the best player on a good team.


BUT.... if I were a Thunder fan I'd be worried about this. Happening the other way was fine... Westbrook hurt, Durant carries team for awhile, everyone adjusts when Westbrook gets back.

But I'd be worried that Westbrook will start to enjoy the plethora of available shots and the control he has over the game. Durant is a better "plug into a team and gel" guy than Westbrook.

On the other hand, maybe Westbrook will be frustrated with the lack of help and welcome one of the world's best players back to the court with open arms. It will be interesting to see how the chemistry shakes out once Durant is back.
