maybe chester was sleeping on the job ...or someone made friends with him while you were on one of your runs

maybe old chester got ahold of him and he managed to get over the fence and out of the yard,,,I could have a body close by and not know it....the woods around the house are so thick you can hardly walk thru them

Just dig a pit. Fill it with gators.
And build a false floor over it.......
Might find the floor collapsed, but possibly no trace of the culprit.

yes I will need to pay more attention to the place now,,,I did have a generator taken from here about a month ago
