I dont think adams is going to be so bad ghost .. I put an artical in the media thread about how we came to pick him ..it was an interview with colbert...interesting artical

he will make the team he needs to spend some time in the gym,he only put up 12 reps on the bench, the LB they took I just don't see him being a starter

Great draft so far. Two very very good linemen. The Spence pick was perplexing as he was not very strong at the combine and had behavioral issues, but I don't doubt Colbert when it comes to acquiring defensive guys.

neither do I .. adams .. could end up being a problem child though

they are rookies ..colbert sees something in him and the steelers are noted for taking a diamond in the ruff and turning them into stars

I am not overly concerned about the pot smoking as much as the lying about it. he is a kid though, so it may not be indicative of who he is. Hopefully being surrounded by vets and a no-nonsense culture can make him stay on the right paty. Pouncey had some issues in college as well but settled down. He needs to be a bit more physical but the S&C group can handle that.

I found this on FOX

4. Ben Roethlisberger is a very happy (and much safer) man: The Steelers struck gold when they drafted Maurkice Pouncey in 2010. With Pouncey injured and out of the lineup in 2011, the line struggled. Ben Roethlisberger took a beating last season, getting sacked 40 times and evading about 40 more.

The Steelers went out and drafted David DeCastro, the top guard — and arguably the top offensive lineman — in the draft with the 24th overall pick on Thursday. On Friday, they grabbed Mike Adams, a highly decorated left tackle out of Ohio State, with the 56th overall pick.

Multiple scouts told me Adams had the most "NFL-ready" frame of any tackle in this draft, but off-the-field issues (tattoo situation at Ohio State, a failed combine drug test) knocked him down some teams’ boards. For what it’s worth, I had the Steelers grabbing Adams in the first round of my seven-round mock draft. They got him at 56.
