Haley had, at one time, the best rushing attack in kc I think and of course we know the explosive o he had in AZ, I like his offense and I think it would thrive with a healthy line and running game. But dropped passes, overshooting receivers, very little protection, no running lanes, he doesnt control that. Ben had a line and a running game when he came into the league although he did make a lot of plays. Of course, running cotchery on reverses and redman on screens could be eliminated from the playbook. This offense is designed, in some respects, to keep ben healthy, but with no line,

Cant remember the exact yr, but Ben had 120 rating outside the pocket and a 100 rating on passes over 20 yrds.

In his best statistical season 2007-08, he called many of his own plays.

Well, "supposed" is the operative word. A running and short passing game is supposed to do that, but that goes up in flames with no running game and a piss poor o line.
