But for all honesty, they had to let them walk (Boldin more questionably than anyone else). Their GM made the most out of a crappy situation. In hindsight they should have locked Flunko up midseason before he won the SB MVP and got paid for it. They could have gotten away with about $10-15 million less over 5 years. Hindsight is always 20-20 though!!

As for us Pitt fans, that is great for us!!! Their future will involve a lot of restructuring by Flunko if they want to lock anyone up. Should be interesting to watch. But our situation is far from over either. Colbert has a lot of magic to pull out of his sleeves in the next few offseasons.

Morning, Steeler Nation. Things have been too quiet around here since the end of last season.

But it's just a couple of hours until the season opens, and I'm hoping that our boys will prove that the pre-season was NOT a sign of things to come!

And here's hoping that a "W" will get this joint jumping again.
