Ed Reed might be taking a route out of Baltimore, just like Dannell Ellerbe and Paul Kruger took on Tuesday.

The veteran safety, a member of the Baltimore Ravens for his entire 12-year career, will meet with the Houston Texans on Thursday, according to a person informed of the visit. The person spoke to USA TODAY Sports on condition of anonymity, because the team doesn't comment on meetings with free agents.

The Ravens appear to be clearing house: Reed's playing partner, safety Bernard Pollard was released Wednesday, the fourth of the 11 defensive starters in the Super Bowl to leave the team.

I read somewhere it has a lot to do with that mutiny bullshit that Pollard started last year. From what they are saying anyone that sided with Pollard is getting the boot....Ed Reed was one of them!!
