I'm fine. So are my home and pets, though my neighbor's garage (an old barn) is now missing half its metal roof, and there are some trees down. Lots of low areas flooded, but my home and office are on high ground.

Of course, it ain't over. Center of the storm is near the Burgh now. Lots more rain to come.

The Associated Press reported 38 U.S. deaths related to the storm, and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said at least 10 people were dead in the city. Government offices and U.S. stock markets were shut for a second day amid damage that may total billions of dollars.
