The NHL...its time to get goalie equipment downsized....

I know they have made changes to goalie equipment but really... we need to return to the 70's...this equipment is to big...spread the pads and you can cover post to post...gloves and waffles are way to large...i would like to see the goalies today compare to tony esposito...dryden...parent...we would see more goals and higher scoring especially in this decade....thoughts...

Meh. I think that with the speed of today;s game that kind of goaltending goalies would just be fisted every game.
