"Daddy" is a very dark and emotionally-charged song that closes out Korn's debut album. It's about being the victim of child molestation - which lead singer Jonathan Davis was. Radio stations can't play it. Since it strikes such a sensitive personal nerve, Korn doesn't even play it live - and never had until a few years ago during that album's 20th anniversary tour.

The song itself has a wicked ominous bass riff that sets the tone for the whole song. The guitars are perfectly-placed accents to the heavy bass riff and the vocals ooze with powerful anguish.

This is one of my all time favorite songs, and very few even know it exists.

Under rated album, too.

I agree so much. 5 undeniable masterpieces before it, and then just "bam"...best, first six albums ever, tie with zeppelin.

Honestly, now thinking, no band has a more solid catalog than Zeppelin. Perfect timing and no fat.

All 8 of their albums are gold. Not a bad one.
