Who gets the bulk of starts at DH and LF is the magic question. I do think Bochy has ridden the hot hand which he seems to be doing with Josh Smith for now but that could easily change.

And Duran was the hot hand until the back injury. But how are we going to justify forcing Semien, Seager, Lowe, Garcia, Jung, Heim, Taveras, Duran and hell even Grossman to sit on the bench to insure everyone gets enough playing time to suit others. And what’s sufficient playing time? 1 game a week? 2? 3?

The only reason some of us want Heaney moved to the pen when deGrom comes back is because of how ridiculously good Dunning has been. Not at all a slight at Heaney. He's been excellent lately, too.
