I'm watching the PFF broadcast and they all shook their head saying the same thing: The Rams paid too much for Fiske especially that Second Rounder next year. The value chart had the highest value compensation for next year, a Fourth Rounder.

I just don’t understand it.

Why not trade one of the 3rd rounders this year?
They must feel this draft class is much deeper than next years will be to hold onto both 3rd rounders and trade a 2nd next year.

The other thing is, because this draft is so deep, there was no reason to give up that kind of draft capital.

You do that in shallow drafts when the drop off is way more significant
