Kevin was a tall, lanky looking goofball. Kerry was the properly portioned super-star-looking one. Making Kerry the somewhat goofy looking one is a bit jarring for me here as well. But I will certainly see this movie. Wrestling movies tend to actually be pretty good (The Wrestler, Fighting With My Family)As a lifelong Von Erich fan who grew up watching their entire run, this actually looks good. Only gripe I got is Efron looks more like Kerry than Kevin

You forgot about the all time classic Ready to Rumble.Kevin was a tall, lanky looking goofball. Kerry was the properly portioned super-star-looking one. seen a spoiler................Seen it. It's pretty good. Not as much wrestling as I thought it would be considering all I've read about how hard the actors trained but they did recreate a couple of matches. Pacing is a little off at times and I could see how that might mess up a person who has no prior knowledge of the story being able to form more connections to the characters. I'd say its a solid B+.
The guy they got to play Ric Flair though is terrible. Cannot believe they went with that. There's got to be like 100 actors out there that could do a better job
Allegedly they had to cut basically his entire role for time. This is the kind of movie I wish that somehow they could make series out of it but also had a movie. There is plenty of material to make more than one movieJust saw it and loved it. The guy that played Ric Flair definitely was the worst part of the movie.
I think I missed MJF’s part or it was a blink and I missed it moment. Unless it was cut out.

It was like they brought the actor in and only showed him that promo and told him to recreate itseen a spoiler................
Worst casting ever
Rewatched it a few weeks ago and was able to catch the brief glimpse of him during the tag match. It's a blink and you'll miss it moment. He's in one of the multi-man matches midway thru the film. Sorta on the right side of the screen in the scene, wearing pinkish or orangeish tights. I totally would have missed it if I wasn't specifically looking for him, but since I knew he, Chavo, and Ryan Nemeth were all in the movie, I made it a point to pay extra attention during any matches to see if I could see them
I think a lot was time constraints and probably just felt that the viewers would’ve felt numb if they had to deal with a fourth death. Would’ve been really hard to put that in a two hour movie and have it feel important.Just watched it.
My primary complaints were with casting. I really like Efron and White as actors. They both pick great rolls and they don’t appear to think of themselves as “thespians”, so there isn’t any pretentiousness with them (maybe with White, a bit…). But because I was pretty aware of the REAL Kerry and Kevin, I had a hard time accepting either. Maybe if they swapped roles? But neither tall, so I don’t think either would have worked as Kevin. And Flair was just horrible. I heard it was bad before I saw it, but that preparation did not prepare me for what I was about to experience. Wow. Just Wow…
Next, why leave out Chris? I would assume due to time constraints, but he was absolutely part of the story. It just seems wrong to do a biopic and completely scrub the existence of an entire person from the family drama. Especially when the movie was specifically about the brothers and their relationship with each other.
Finally, I was a huge wrestling fan in the 80s and 90s. I took a bit of a break in the mid 90s (kinda), then watched up to about ‘03 or so. I was excited when Kerry made it to the WWF. He had a great look for wrestling at the time, and brought the NWA/Regional cred with him. And through all of that, I never had any idea his entire career in the WWF, he didn’t have a foot. I am disappointed in myself for not knowing that.
