On a side note, I think the new rule about a 15 yard penalty for any helmet contact will lead to another ratings fall for the NFL. If they call that the way the rule reads, there will be another 30-40 penalties a game. If they only call it here and there, it will be just like holding or PI, which can be called on every single play, but basically allows the officials to determine who wins the game
I think this will be a total disaster. As the rule is now written, you are talking about 30-40 penalties a game, which they obviously won't call, it'll be the ones that cost a team the game but weren't called earlier that will be the problem. Every damn time a home team gets touched to the head it's gonna go to reviewThe NFL is becoming a joke. The should just play flag football

It's not the same game. The reason our baseball drafts are so much fun is you can honestly compare Mantle to Trout..they were playing the same game. NBA, the game is fine, but you can't compare LBJ to MJ the way you could if they had the same rules. In today's NBA, MJ would go for 40 a night. The NFL, there's no way to judge HOF from now on. It's 7 on 7It was already getting out of hand, but now, this is the beginning of the end.
