Moreland has to be doing SOMETHING to convince JD to keep him on the field, because it's definitely not his on-field performance. I didn't mean it as a true statement....... Maybe Moreland has some incriminating photos of JD. I just don't get why the guy is still here, first base / DH are easy positions to fill.

Yes, strikeouts are common, but not 99 of them in 213 ABs. He did a great job this year in getting his strikeouts down in Myrtle Beach. He just needs to do that again and I have no doubt that he will. I have a feeling that in a year from now his strikeouts will still be plenteous, but not nearly at the rate they are now, he will have a much better average and he will still be hitting all of those HRs. Then he should be ready. Not that any of that is "premium insight" for Rev or anyone else, but then again it wasn't meant to be.

Not looking to get into a pissing match, but if you are bennie hiding behind another name, then that's fine. It actually makes sense if that's the case.

Well here's the deal in an attempt to make you more welcome I will layoff. Even deleted my latest ESPN comments. I am honestly not angry with you. I just got tired of the same circular debates everyday.

So if you wanna talk about Gallo okay. He's 20. Let's worry about that strike out rate when he's called up in 2016 and he looks like Michael Choice did this year. Until then just enjoy the pop and development of a prospect. He can learn better discipline, but that power is innate. His swing is pure and sweet.

Rev, you will not find a bigger fan of Joey than I am. I think he will be greatness here. One day he will put on a show in the HR derby that will match what Josh did there. His greatness will last a lot longer than Josh's though.

Truth is, that's usually the only reason alts are created and it helps keep the trolling down big time. One thing you have to say about this site is it keeps that bull shit to a minimum.

I would love for him to rival some of the stuff Josh did here, but I don't know if he's that sort of talent. If he came up and averaged 25+ homers a year I would be stoked. Have not had that out of a home grown talent in the OF in a loooong time.
