Recently I started reading facebook forums with Bengals fans.

It's clear a lot of these Bengal fans are bleed over LSU fans
clearly not fans of this team for long.

-They all think we can trade Higgins and a few draft picks and somehow manage to sign Justin Jefferson to a long contract and still return Jamar Chase in the process.
I call this the "EA Sports Madden effect."

-They think we should be able to trade for a Tight End right now, cuz Irv Smith sucks.

-They don't really believe Joe Burrow is injured

-They all mostly want us to trade picks for Perine. (my head hurts)

so there's that.

i do the same with washington fans.to say they are frustated is putting it mildly.most of them are maryland terps fans.

The Madden Effect is a real thing and not just for football...people think because they can do "X,Y, or Z" in their game, or in fantasy...that it can be done in real life. These people are detached from reality.

yea, I had aaron rodgers playing for the bengals for awhile, good times.

seems like interest in the Bengals has actually increased on facebook now that Burrow is injured.


and the argument is between who is going to be the savior Browning or McCarron

like the OL, running game, receivers, and entire defense is just going to magically fix itself.
my head hurts.
