I thought this was common sense.

This is also the reason I am a proponent of taking a 2021 first rounder from somebody like the Dolphins over their pick 26 this season. There is a far greater probability that the Dolphins with a rookie QB this season will be drafting in the top five next season than they will be drafting in the late first.
