Not establishing the run and not sticking with it and going for a 56 yard field goal during a half where your defense was holding up and where you had flipped field position is classic bad Big Red. Bad undisciplined penalties check! Critical holding penalty by O'Leary to stall a critical drive and bone headed penalty by your best player to seal the game on 3rd and 5. Your players not making plays, check. Witten dropping a key pass in the second half in his stomach and Ware not making a play and your athlectic and supposed star linebackers getting torched for 3TDs. Finally, our recent stud draftees failing miserably, check, check. Mo was torched all day long and well Terrence Williams showing once again that he is a wasted pick. 8-8 here we come...actually 7-9.

Its hard to run the ball and work on time of procession when your defense can't stop anyone and you start playing behind all the time.

All of that only works when you have a great defense behind it.

Sometimes a team has to just impose their will. This team has shown early in this year that hey can win in the trenches on both sides of the ball. I think if Murray gets going early and we can score in the red zone...I see no reason why UK's observation can't work. One thing that needs to imrove right away s Romo ypc think it's like 6.7. Meanwhile Mannings is 9.8 wow.

We are not mentally tough enough to impose our will. If we can't do it against teams like San Diego, how will it look when we play elite teams. And cupcakes like the Rams don't really count in my book.
