The Damien Cox misstep of the day

Not sure if this will be a regular feature, but Cox truly has enough "foot-in-mouth" moments. Here is today's gem:

It's kinda funny that a league (NHL) that employs goons who can't play a lick feels it can instruct the world on skill development.

That's right Damien, there is very little skill in the NHL, I wonder why the Olympic hockey final featured two teams that pulled players exclusively from the National Hockey League.

he came on vancouver radio and blamed MLB and its past for planting this seed of doubt that makes him question Bautistas performance ... ok sure I can agree with that ... any bump in numbers looks fishy

but Bautista hit 10 homers last September ... what? did he start using during the season last year ??? I am meh on Cito Gaston ... I hate the Blue Jays ... I think he won world series back in the 90's because his team was stacked and he cant really manage a team out of a paper sack but Ill give him one thing ... he is a great hitting coach

The guy is pathetic. He knows next to nothing about ANY sport and somehow gets remunerated handsomely for spouting crap.

I would contend that the true "goon" went out of style and use in the mod 90s as well. Boogaard and Orr and guys like that, while not supremely skilled could skate circles around Scott Daniels, Todd Ewen and Warren Rychel.
