This is the first public mention of this on the site but I just want to let you guys know that something special is going to happen here on Sunday night at 8pm EST. I can't say more than that but if you can, come by right before. This will be right up you guy's alley, trust me. You'll be sorry if you miss it and we'll be talking about this day in SportsHoopla history for years.

I wanted to do it another time because I will be very drunk then but 8pm EST Sunday night is the time. Try to be here.

Ahhh. So you finally sold the site to Teal Swordsman. I can't wait to see my new office.

who has that?

Meant white sox....no idea where the astros came from...chaulk it up as a brain fart...

Same difference...the point? When half of you're division schedule is against AAA teams? I wouldn't be calling other divisions a joke.

Same goes for the NL central...

Just you and World.

And Francis too if he doesn't wise up about the definition of pure baseball.

AL: 117 NL: 100

For the bagillionth time...AL dominates the NL in interleague...

Is this really still a debate?

NL ERA: 3.76 Vs. the AL? 4.06

AL ERA: 4.02 Vs. the NL? 3.70

Really? Seriously? You NL'ers really feeling inadequate enough today to try this shit again?

That's the combined OPS of the slots in the batting order in each league.

The DH not only makes a HUGE difference in overall OPS, but also makes it easier theoretically for pitchers to go deeper into games, because there's never a time where the AL manager would have to pinch hit for a guy where the game is 2-2 in the 6th.

That's also the reason that AL teams can load their benches with juiced up power hitters, while NL clubs have to roster a .220 hitting utility infielder that can actually play the field.

"facing tougher lineups makes it easier to go deep into games"
