If so, Pete Golding deserves the Lifetime Achievement version.

Those 5 wouldn't look so good if they didn't face Oklahoma's defense.


The question is, how did those 5 teams fare against Oklahoma? Were they better than their average? Worse? I know for certain that the "good" offenses OSU played all had their worst days of the year when they played the Buckeyes. The lone exception might have been the last game, where scUM put up almost 400 yards but 300 of those were in the first half. 2nd half they got squat. The other 11 games were all less than 300.

You can chase all that info. I'm not your errand boy.

I'll give you the last game though.

OSU is averaging 464 yds per game AFTER the OU game where they were held to 335 yds. They're averaging 33.6 per game AFTER the OU game where they were held to 16.

So...I guess it looks like tOSU defense is trending downward while OU's defense is trending upward significantly.

Throughout the year I've been beating the tOSU is the best drum. I didn't want OU to face them...now I'm not so concerned about facing any team. If OU can keep the turnovers down I like our chances against anyone at this point.
