Everyone else sees it the same way. I am encouraged that Josh does not feel he is entitled to it. He must earn it.

If you remember, Lavonte David was like that also. The difference is that Lavonte did DESERVE it.

Our Defensive line has played to that standard.

Our secondary as been pretty damn good as well. Gerry has made some boneheaded mistakes, but he is a blackshirt. No doubt.

In my opinion, Trevor Roach is the key to our defense going forward. Middle linebackers don't need to be freak athletes. They need to be smart, they need to be playmakers, and they need to be hard ass motherfuckers who don't take no shit off of nobody. I feel like Roach is that guy.

Actually, HWSNBN ended the tradition when they handed 'em out like candy on Halloween. Bo hasn't restored the tradition, it's now more of a trophy.

I still believe in 'ole school way, hand them out to the starters at the beginning of the year and let the number 1's struggle to keep them and give the 2nd & 3rd stringers something to strive for.
