Webber says that Robertson, Barkley, and Wayman Tisdale were the best at using their butts on post-ups. No one could get around them.

Robertson also said that he never did behind the back passes, because his high school coach threatened to kick him off the team if he ever did it again.

Robertson says that later on, he understood that if he had tried it in a professional game, then the media would have just called him a clown and a Globetrotter, not a serious player.

Robertson says that the zone defense, especially starting in the college game, has made guards too passive. They just pass the ball around and then the team ends up taking a jump shot.

He says guards against a zone defense don't know how to probe the defense and attack as much, as the older ones did.

Robertson also said that being able to shoot with only one or two dribbles, and maybe a pump fake, is the way it should be done. Shouldn't need too many dribbles.

After the Royals moved from Cincinnati to Kansas City, Coach Bob Cousy wanted to trade Robertson to Baltimore for Gus Johnson.

Johnson was even hurt, but Cousy still wanted to trade Robertson for Johnson.

However, Cousy couldn't trade Robertson because it said so in Roberstson's contract!

The media in Cincinnati started attacking Robertson. They said he never went after loose balls in his 10 years there, that "he never had a rug burn in Cincinnati".

After reading that, Robertson was disgusted. He wanted out of Cincinnati then.

(He says now that as a black athlete, he was held to a higher standard than whites).

He got traded to Milwaukee. They won a championship.

Then the story for the next year, according to one writer, was "How much is left for the Big O"? They then had a picture of Robertson, with the picture quality physically fading.

Robertson did not like that writer. He was angry that this crap was happening, instead of focusing on how the Bucks won a championship.

Robertson said "Man, you get the hell away from me."

Robertson says that Bucks managament came to him and said they wanted to have a special day for him.

Robertson, however, saw that has a signal that they were sending him off to retirement. But he said they weren't man enough to tell him they wanted him to retire, so they did it under the guise of a special day.

He did not like that, he didn't think he should retire.

But he thought about it some, and decided to go through with it for the special day.

Still, he didn't want to play there anymore.

However, Webber notes that Bucks management and ownership has not made much of an effort to keep in touch with Robertson, or Lew Alcindor. Webber says that if they haven't done that, then how can they really say honor the Bucks title team, and say it's a part of their history?

Robertson says that he's been invited to way more games in Sacramento, than he ever has in Milwaukee.

It's interesting to note the distance and friction Robertson has with Bucks management.
