i just heard in the cesspool, a couple of Sens players ,when asked if anything surprised them about Burrows after meeting him, said "he's bigger than we thought he was"

Nice thread. Great to see Belolows get the monkey off his back right away. He played a really good all-around game last night too.

For my sins I have a couple of buddies who are Nucks fans and they can't get off this guy's sack. I've gotten a dozen texts at least about how great he is. LOL. I thought he was done last year (I haven't watched VAN much this year) but these guys still think he's awesome. I don't get it.

i think he has something to give ... not much mind you but i could be wrong ... but yah ... canucks were on the verge of buying him out last year ... hes gonna be a good teammate, thats for sure. No matter how much hate the general fan who doesnt stay up past 10 eastern gives him, hes a smart responsible player

There will be a long video tribute and I'm sure some tears will be shed (wouldn't be surprised if a Burrows chant reverberates through Rogers Arena).
