lost in the shuffle ... moose take game 7 on the road ... lol Keith Seabrook scored the insurance goal

Game Summaries | Manitoba Moose

sounds like Lack really held them in the game: outshot 33-18, won 4-1 (with e.n.)
Mooses had been down 3 games to 1 in this series.

the dreaded Rosa-Shirokov connection struck again, too. they have been on fire.

Mooses (93 pts) start round 2 against the Bulldogs (97 pts) on Thursday.
Despite similar records, Bulldogs have bitchslapped Mooses this year - 14 pts vs 6 pts in the 8 games.
4 of the games went to shootout, the Bulldogs won the rest in regulation.

Go Meese Go!!

Coaching is huge in the AHL. The baby Sens made the playoffs and have advanced 1 round despite having their roster pillaged by Ottawa. It's all on coach Kleinendosrt.

The Sens future looks awesome, and a lot of that is down to their A coach.

WBS Penguins falling behind for the second round in a row.

Two more to play in Charlotte before they head back to WBS too.

Mooses show life, winning 5-4 at home last night (series now 2-1 Bulldogs)

Shirokov scored off of a face-off with 1.9 seconds left in the 2nd. would like to see that one.
Last one I can remember like that (with that little time in a period) was Greg Adams in the playoffs vs the Jets w/ about 3 ticks left.

I'm amazed at how the Pens have held together during the past couple months. No Dustin Jeffery, Eric Tangradi or Nick Johnson. As it has been stated in this thread, already... I give major props to the coaches, and of course Thiessen.

I think the NHL Penguins have a pretty damn good back-up for MAF in Brad.

highlights here: Game Day | Manitoba Moose
Shirokov's buzzer-beater at 2:05, just a clean draw and nice shot.
the GWG (3:25) is awfully pretty.

Marco Rosa has been a beast in these playoffs.

Pirates vs. B-Sens series getting interesting too.

Pirates with a huge win an elimination game last night, now going back home for the final 2 looking to pull off the 3-1 comeback.

Moose and Bulldogs take it to double OT tonight, after playing last night.
8 periods of hockey in 27 hours.

Bliznak cashes in for the Moose, to tie the series at 2-2. *phew*

Damn, looks like the Pirates didn't have enough to beat Binghamton to advance.

I guess Enroth couldn't create any of the same magic he did for the Sabres when Miller was out towards the end of the season. It also hurts that they were elimanated by a team that is called the Senators.

Ottawa had a bad year, but look to be in good shape for the future with their farm team.

He's doing a great job and now during the playoffs he has a lot of the same guys who finished the year in Ottawa. Cowen has now joined the team and Lehner is playing really well.

I never thought Kleinendorst would be a candidate to become the Sens coach next year but if the B-Sens win the Calder Trophy then it would be hard not to give him some consideration.

WBS Pens hold off elimination and forces game six with Brad Thiessen's 1-0 shutout of the Checkers. Thiessen is making quite a name for himself this season.

LETS GO PENS!!

home teams have held serve so far in the Hamilton - Winnipeg series.
Bulldogs with a 5-1 asskicking, Lack responds with a 1-0 shutout for the Meeses.

we are going to game 7. Unfortunately, that game will be in Hamilton.

Looks like a good Eastern final is on tap.

Charlotte scored 3 goals combined in games 2-5 against WBS (2-2 record) then score 4 straight in under 10 minutes of the third in game 6.

Binghamton comes in looking great, scoring a ton so far in these playoffs with 3 of the top 4 goal scorers so far in the POs.
