Yep Trojanfight, I saw that article and apparently Love is having second thoughts about playing with Lebron. Apparently he is not getting enough touches and wants to opt out and possibly head home to LA. This was predicted by several players including Bosh. Also, Kobe has stated in an article that he's not much interested in playing past 2016. I think he finally is understanding his time has come and his career is about to end. Its inevitable.

RUMOR: Kevin Love 'Will Seriously Consider' Opting Out, Eyes Return To L.A. | Lakers Nation

Not sure how legit this report is. But I'm thinking he's not untouchable especially if Cleveland suffers a early playoff loss. And not many people would choose Cleveland over LA. I'm sure he's thinking Cleveland is worse than Minnesota.

Smells like pure click bait to me. Cleveland is "struggling" so let's manufacture a story about how Love might leave. It works because he's gonna opt out simply because he makes more money that way. Same thing with Aldridge. He's opting out only because he gets more money that way. He said over the summer he's resigning with Portland now that they're winning

Yea I read that article, looks like Jeannie won't get her wish. Next season will be Kobe's farewell tour.

I agree LALakersboy. I think Kobe has come to terms with the fact that there is a very good chance he will not see a sixth title during his playing career. I think he has come to terms with it on some level because the rebuild is in full swing mode. Maybe he'll settle for a sixth ring as a coach.

Been on the road for work for the last 10 days so haven't been here a while. Here's my 2 cents though:

I've only seen two games (Houston and the last one vs Charlotte) so I don't quite know how well the team has been performing but it's safe to say there's nothing wrong with losses against Golden State, the Clippers and Phoenix - they're clearly top playoff teams which, let's be honest, we aren't (yet).

I'll start to panic when we lose 5 games in a row against teams like Philly and Minnesota.

The 3 year plan is still in effect and I STILL think we could make the playoffs.
