Sorry, been up to my taint in contractors trying to get my pool somewhat on the road to completion. That and I'm doing the bachelor thing while the wife is vacationing in Ireland. Oh yeah, I'm also dog sitting for my wife's sister who's over there with her.

Three guys with jackhammers couldn't take up the tiles in my lanai yesterday. They all jumped in the pool shell to cool off in the dirty ground water and rain water at the end of their day. They'll b back today to finish, surace the concrete and the lanai and hopefully put down the first coat of acrylic.

Next week the subs come to construct the steel and screen surround, then the owner's wife will drain the pool, acids wash the shell, apply the protective coat and then the liner. Finally the filter, pump and water heater will bee installed while they put 15,000 gallons of clean water in the pool.

Maybe, just maybe, I'll be swimming in my $75,000 back yard pit by October 12.
