Really thought Matthews would’ve won the Rocket had the season gone 82. Hope he gets another shot at it.

I’m sure it’ll go to Torts or Maurice for keeping their teams in the hunt despite major departures in the offseason but all of Colorado’s best players had lengthy injury spells this year and they’re third overall. Berube also has the champs in second. I think one of those two deserve the Jack Adams.

Ovechkin has to retire eventually.

Long live the king!

Speaking of OV, his wife gave birth to their second child early this morning - little Aleksandrovich Ovechkin. Congrats!

For the Norris is there anyone but John Carlson that could win?

Zach Weresnki quietly had a great season, led the league in goals by D. Hedman was pretty good all year too.

But overall points always wins.

So true and the fact he has 10 more points than Josi and 20 more than Hedman makes it hard to vote against him.

I just wish they'd create a Bobby Orr trophy for highest scoring/best offensive D man and give the Norris to a more well rounded player.

A lot of the winners are really just Rovers.

Edit: yes, I am aware that Werenski epitomizes "rover".

I think creating the Brett Burns award is better. :suds:
