I mean I called it days before the draft (go find my posts)... they took Mayfield who doesn't fit their scheme at all and has character issues... now the trade down is coming and they'll take meh prospects with a mid-late 1st... and be RIGHT back to the top of the draft class next year with 'lots of picks to build the team!'

Jets - Sam Darnold QB - A Grade

This pick just makes sense... I'm not going to lump in what the Jets gave up to move up on this trade, but the pick at 3 is obvious. Sam Darnold is the best QB pick in this draft... that's not saying much, but if the Jets were going to make the move up, this is the dream situation. 2 QBs could've easily been off the board, and instead the Jets get the best one.

Darnold has some inconsistency and confidence issues.. my question is how will he handle the big market of New York? The positive is he has no real shoes to fill, lol.
