Denver's defense has been my favorite unit in football to watch all season. I love watching a team get after the QB, hit hard and create turnovers. IMO, they're one of the top 5 defensive units I've ever seen. From front to back, they were just dominant. It also wasn't bad having them as my fantasy defense. haha
I argued with people all season, telling them Denver was the team to beat come playoff time because of that unit. I'm glad everyone doubted it, because it made them underdogs or only slight favorites in quite a few games I felt they'd win. Which translated to lucrative betting opportunities for me. lol
That game was awesome tonight. It was great to see a team carry Peyton for once, after all of those years in the mid-2000's watching his defense fail him. Going to miss watching him, if this is the end (which I kind of hope it is). Total class act and one of the best minds ever to step on the field. If there's ever been a prototype, that is everything you want in a QB. It has to be Peyton.
I do also have to say, it was good to see those guys on the other sideline get put in their place for once. I have nothing against Cam or the rest of them, but they just exuded way too much overconfidence for a young team that hasn't won diddly in this league.
