I don't care how well the Sound Tigers are playing lately, if the Leafs can't get two points from this game, they don't deserve to make the playoffs.

Al Montoya will be in goal for the Islanders. Until being picked up by the Isles for a 6th round pick from Phoenix the former Rangers 1st round pick was a career minor leaguer. Now he's a MONSTER

Tavares has said publicly he's happy in L.I.. However I'm sure that hasn't stopped the Toronto media from dreaming up scenarios in which he becomes a Leaf after next season. Note to Burke, the Islanders will match ANY offer.

I was impressed with Montana last game thought he made some solid saves throughout the game.Also thought he was pretty solid in the shop out.

He's played great since the trade. I had very low expectations considering how bad the Isles goalie situation was at the time I was just happy they found somebody.

He'll be an RFA at the end of the year. It wouldn't suprise me if the Isles resigned him.

Marty made a sweet glove save on Hillen in OT. Both goalies played well in the shootout. Everyone knows what Frans is going to do & they still can't stop him. Kovy had a sweet goal. Rolston seems to have found the fountain of youth.

Considering Montoya is the 6th goalie to see action this year for the Islanders he'd been playing great. Is he a #1 goalie? Of course not. However he's certainly been playing like it.

Tavares was asked if he would play for Team Canada in the World Championships. He said if he was asked to play he would do so.

The Hawks getting ripped by the Panthers though....wow.

They had a goal called back because the refs said the puck was played by a high stick before the goal still dont see any contact with the puck and the stick.But not cashing in on 3 straight penalties including a minute of 5-3 and giving up a goal off a sloppy change is not what I consider a good peiod.Devils need to clean it up if they want to get anywhere.
