This does not surprise me with Murphy struggling and the fact he will be a goner next year. Profar is too good not to be playing up here for keeps. A radio talk show host discussed this possibility two weeks ago after a Ranger game.
It just reinforces the notion that the front office never had any plans of any trade involving Profar whatsoever. Its time to trickle in some of the young talent.
Where do you put Profar then? His value is at short IMO. I dont know how he will be if he plays the outfield.
