I sure hope we can put up 30+ on Texas........but if they follow in the footsteps of SDSU defensively they could really put the clamps down on Nebraska's ground game.

Texas is still the #6 overall defense in the country, and they have the athletes on that side of the ball to get it done. If they force Nebraska to get things done through the air I really think there are just gonna be a shit ton of field goals kicked in this game.

I agree. Texas has the athletes to man up against Nebraska rcvrs in the secondary. If the line of scrimmages are equal on both sides of the ball, it's gonna come down to intangibles. ie.. special teams, penalties, turnovers.

Must have missed that part, had to watch the pep talk on the website as I was working late that night. Good to know. I think Lou is the only talking head I have seen pick Texas (I am sure dodd did too, but haven't seen it).

I will go with 31-10. I just do not see Texas being able to move the ball and it will be a lot like the UT-UNL game in Young's second season where they hung tough for about a half and then wore down and the game opened up.
